More and more workers are being asked to wear safety harnesses while at work. However, few workers are properly trained and thus many are at significant risk through poorly selected or incorrectly used safety harnesses. Few people truly understand the risk and even fewer appreciate that selecting the wrong equipment or wearing it incorrectly can be more dangerous than not wearing it at all.
The primary objective of this training course is to provide delegates with an understanding of the safety requirements, the current legislation and any dangers associated with working at height. This specialist Health & Safety training course will enable delegates to be fully competent when working at height, ensuring the safe selection, correct use and inspection of harnesses and lanyards.
This half-day course is designed for your company supervisors and operatives who, in compliance with the Work at Height Regulations, require fall arrest protection in the form of safety harnesses and lanyards in the course of their work.
The training course will include:
Upon completion, successful delegates will be issued with a Certificate as proof of training and a Site Training Identity Card. These are valid for 3 years.
